Installation & Airflow Guide

Good installation supports consistent operation and easier maintenance. Use the product's markings and instructions together with the requirements of the compressed-air system.

Installation checklist

  1. Depressurize

Isolate and fully relieve system pressure before installation or service.

  2. Confirm flow direction

Align the inlet and outlet with the direction marked on the component.

  3. Mount securely

Support the unit and connected piping without placing unnecessary load on the ports.

  4. Check for leaks

After installation, pressurize in a controlled manner and inspect all connections.

Why airflow matters

Compressed-air demand changes while tools and equipment operate. A component that is too restrictive for the required flow can contribute to pressure loss downstream. Compare published product data with the application's expected demand and operating pressure.

Practical setup reminders

  • Keep sealing material out of the air passage.
  • Avoid overtightening fittings into component ports.
  • Install where the gauge, adjustment knob, bowl, and drain remain accessible.
  • Use filtration and lubrication only as required by downstream equipment.
  • Drain collected condensate and inspect the filter element as system conditions require.
  • Do not exceed the product's listed operating limits.
System-specific responsibilityThe installer is responsible for confirming component suitability, safe isolation, compatible materials, and compliance with the connected equipment's instructions.
